Pension is situated in the village Smižany, in 3 km distance from the Slovak Paradise National Park. Slovak Paradise is famous for its gorges and waterfalls (Kláštorisko, Tomášovský výhľad, Suchá Belá, Sokolia dolina, Prielom Hornádu). These sites can be reached by easy and also by more difficult hikes.
In winter, besides the hikes, there is a wide range of downhill or cross-country skiing options at disposal in the ski resorts Plejsy (27 km) Levočská Dolina (12 km), Poračska dolina (12 km), Rittenberg (3,5 km) and the High Tatras (28 km).
Location of the pension enables to make trips for sightseeing of Spiš historical monuments - in Levoča (11 km), Spišský castle (25 km), Markušovce (8 km), Kežmarok (24 km), as well as its natural beauties – the Dobšinská Ice Cave (40 km), Pieniny (60 km), the High Tatras (30 km) and the thermal baths Vrbov (22 km) and AquaCity Poprad (24 km). In the nearby located Spišská Nová Ves you can find the outdoor and indoor swimming pools and the highest church tower in Slovakia (87 m).
