It's been mentioned before that the New Year's Eve is the most booked up date of the year and that cottages are traditionally the most popular thanks to the combination of the location in the nature, unique feeling of privacy, evenings by the crackling fire and ski opportunities in the very vicinity.
For your inspiration we bring you this week a selection of cottages that meet these quality expectations. The cottages we present you are perfectly suitable for winter skiing or a summer stay in the mountains but it is the New Year's Eve that adds the special festive mood to it.

Ubytování bylo supr. Doposud nejlepší co jsem na slovensku zažil. (The accommodation was great. The best I've experienced in Slovakia so far.)
Csodálatos napokat töltöttünk a házban, csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek! A ház felszereltsége minden igényt kielégít, s a környezet egyszerűen mesés. :). (We spent a few wonderful days at the cottage, we recommend it to everyone. The cottage is well equipped and the location is just amazing. :)

Dovolenka super. Ubytovanie veľmi pekné, prostredie tiež. Možnosť na turistiku, blízko hrad, priehrada. Veľmi spokojný. (The holiday was perfect. The accommodation was very nice, so was the area. Possibilities for hiking, a castle and a dam nearby. Very satisfied.)

S ubytovanim sme boli velmi spokojni. Hoci sme to objednavali na poslednu chvilu, vdaka Vasej ochote a spolupraci s majitelom chatky vsetko vyslo v poriadku. majitelia chatky su velmi prijemni.Este nam aj dreva narubali.Velmi radi sa tam budeme vracat. (We were very happy with the accommodation. Although we booked it at the last minute, everything went well thanks to your willingness and the cooperation with the owner of the cottage. The owners of the cottage are very nice, they even cut some wood for us. We will be glad to come back sometime.)

Hello, we were very satisfied !!! Not only with the accommodation but with the owner's attitude as well. We liked it very much and we will be happy to do it again with our friends next winter. I was pleasantly surprised by a good level of the entire ski resort in Vratna. As a former racer, I used to ski on the excellent slopes there 20 years ago. I was also impressed by the quality of services! Starting with lifts, parking area, access to refreshments, new toilets and especially the nice people... (That was not always the case 20 years ago). If all Slovak ski resorts follow this example and keep reasonable prices, there is no arguing that the Alpine ski paradise has a strong competition.

Pobyt na chate bol vynikajúci, boli sme maximálne spokojní, aj ubytovateľ bol veľmi ústretový a zlatý. Určite budeme odporúčať! Ešte sa sem vrátime!!! Ďakujeme :) (The stay at the cottage was excellent, we were highly satisfied and the owner was very accommodating and nice. We will certainly recommend! We will come back again !!! Thank you :)

Boli sme veľmi spokojní. Moderná a dobre vybavená chata, v prírode, pritom pár sto metrov od termálneho kúpaliska. (We were very satisfied. Modern and well equipped cottage, in the nature while just a couple of hundred meters from the thermal swimming pool.)
Chata má super polohu v lese, ohnisko a gril sme dobre využili. (The cottage has an excellent location in the woods, the fireplace and grill served us well.)

100% - ubytovanie, poloha, domáci. Vrelo odporúčame každému. (100% - accommodation, location, owners. We strongly recommend to everyone.)
Vybavenie chaty ako aj ubytovací "nadštandard" nás veľmi milo prekvapil. Prekrásne prostredie, ubytovateľ bol ústretový. Nenašiel som jedinú chybičku krásy. (We were pleasantly surprised by the cottage facilities and the "above standard" accommodation. Beautiful environment and friendly owner. There was not a single downside to it.)

Když do Tater tak sem! Moc se nám líbila vkusne zařízena chata i věnkovní posezení. (If we go to Tatras then definitely here! We really liked the tastefully furnished cottage and the outdoor seating area.)

Výborná chata, bolo excelentne, všade čisto a útulne. Vrele odporúčame všetkým - nezabudnuteľné zážitky pri horiacom krbe, večery v tichej prírode. (Fabulous cottage, it was excellent, everything was clean and cozy. Highly recommended to all - unforgettable memories by a burning fireplace, quiet evenings in the nature.)
Le chalet etait tres bien et plein de charme; les proprietaires tres accueillants et serviables. Nous comptons bien revenir en Slovaquie l'annee prochaine. (The cottage was very good and charming. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We are planning to come back to Slovakia to ski next year.)
