The town of Liberec is situated in the valley between Ještěd and Jizerske hills, not far away from the Czech Paradise and Krkonoše. Many beautiful historical sights, castles, museums and modern architectural monuments can be found in the close surroundings. Fans of winter sports, biking, climbing and hiking will also enjoy the local environment. The local ZOO and batanical garden can be visited here as well. The center BABYLON was built on the grounds of an abandoned textile factory with an area of 25000 m2.
