The Lúčky spa offers curative as well as relax/wellness stays. This spa is the only spa in Slovakia that specializes in treating gynecological diseases. It also provides preventive oncological treatment. We can send you the exact list of the treated indications on your request. The spa lies in a mountain valley under the hills of Choč in the interface of the Orava and Liptov region in the elevation of 621 m. It is located only 14 km to the northeast from Ružomberok, which is situated around 280 km from the capital city Bratislava on the route Bratislava-Žilina-Košice. Wide variety of opportunities for recreation and sports is offered at the nearby located water reservoir Liptovská Mara in the summer time and the well-known ski resorts Jasná and Donovaly in the wintertime. Provided procedures include: pool (medicinal tub baths, whirlpool tub baths, sitting tub bath, galvanic tub bathstub, four-chamber baths, aromatic tub baths), parafin, peloids – clean moss with 85 - 95% content of organic substances modified with mineral water into thick slush i sused, massages (hand massage, acupressure, underwater massage, whirlpool, scottish spritzer), electrotherapy (diathermie, diatron, diadynamic streams, ultrasound, inhalation, solux, sun-lamp), intrador – gas injection, myostimulator, healing physical therapy. Thermal mineral water from the spa spring Valentine with temperature of 32 °C is the determining factor of the complex spa treatment. The clients of the spa Lúčky are accommodated in single and double rooms and apartments of the Treatment house, which is connected to the therapeutic center with a corridor. All rooms are equipped with own bathroom, toilet, TV, telephone. Board enriched with minerals and nutriments required for treatment is served in the canteen of the Treatment house Choč. The price of a curative stay includes accommodation, full board (possibility of diet board), medical entry and leaving examination, maximum of 3 healing procedures per day according to the health condition of the patient (except Sundays and Holidays). Breakfast – buffet, lunch and dinner – a la carte. Minimum length of a stay is 7 nights. The price of a relax stay includes accommodation, full board (possibility of diet board), medical entry and leaving examination, maximum of 2 healing procedures per day according to the health condition of the patient (except Sundays and Holidays). The price for accompanying person in the price list includes accommodation with breakfast. Spa tax is included in the price.
