Here it is - the first snowfall in the mountains! The winter is approaching and so are the thoughts where to spend the next ski holiday.

We were wondering where our clients went skiing the most last year. Here are the results of our survey:
1. Demänovská dolina (Slovakia)

No wonder - it is the most visited Slovak ski resort. Attention, skiers - the ski passes from CHOPOK NORTH & SOUTH are valid in the HIGH Tatras as well!

2. Donovaly (Slovakia)

Extraordinary ski experience and unique attractions - snow paragliding, Riders Park, airboarding, quad tracks and bungee activities. In the 2011/2012 ski season it will be the training centre of the Slovak national team in snowboarding and acrobatic skiing.

3. Kaprun - Zell am See (Austria)

138 km of ski slopes! Maiskogel ski resort is located directly in Kaprun, so is the popular Water world and spas. Moreover, the village of Kaprun is situated just 8 km from the Kitzsteinhorn glacier which is a guarantee of snow and a memorable experience.

4. Gosau, Abtenau - Dachstein West (Austria)

5. Liptovský Mikuláš (Slovakia)

The centre of Liptov - the most visited region of Slovakia, lies in the embrace of High and Low Tatras. The Liptov region is part of the European project for presentation of outdoor sports and leisure time activities. 7. Ždiar (Slovakia)

A distinctive Goral village in the Tatras near thermal pools, caves, cultural and historical monuments offers besides skiing in winter a wide range of complementary activities. 10. Sella Ronda (Italy)

Each year, Italian Dolomites attract more and more skiers from the Central Europe. Sella Ronda - the famous 26 km long circuit from which you can ski down to four valleys (Val di Fassa, Arrabba, Alta Badia, Val Gardena). Each one of them offers great skiing opportunities, entertainment and recreation.

11. Dorfgastein (Austria)

200 km of well kept ski slopes await you in Gasteinertal Valley near Salzburg. Ski slopes reach up to 2700 m.a.s.l. and are suitable for the World cup as well as for common skiers and snowboarders.

12. Zuberec (Slovakia)

Finally again in Slovakia - the well known tourist village Zuberec in Roháče traditionally offers good skiing. Right in the village, there are the less challenging resorts Milotín and Janovky, more experienced skiers prefer the slopes of Roháče - ski resort Zverovka-Spálená.
